Its a well known fact for us men that when a girl with good looks passes by we drool instantly.that may not be a secret anymore for women that us men look for looks rather than personality.I'm not saying that a woman wouldn't go for an attractive guy.when u say that men always go for looks rather than personality,I'm a bit confused not because i don't believe that a guy wont go for looks if he meets a girl as beautiful as an angel(I'm refraining from referring to celebrities coz for me they are just fairy tales;p)
the fact is that men are always attracted to beauty.in fact every human is attracted to beauty.the difference is that some people put beauty first and when they say that even for me,i cant seem to agree with that.if you wanna ask me,beauty is overrated,i mean when you look at something beautiful,you become attracted to it but its not the only thing you want to look at.i disagree to some point when a guy says that men always go for looks when it comes to girls. well its true that men look at beauty as a characteristic but not all the time.
if you really know me,I'm quite actually a quiet person(well seems to be) i let people approach me just for the reason that,not because i don't want to make friends,when i come to think about it,it seems that i like a person who wants to make Friends(even though I'm not one to initiate a conversation) but if you really look at it,if a person wants to make friends it shows that he/she is easy to talk to.so if its an angel that comes to me and starts a conversation with me,I'll be grateful that she's beautiful,other than that..its a subplot.
so what if it comes to meeting a girl,do i go for looks? usually i let my heart decide,not my eyes..maybe coz i always thought that eyes are sometimes decieving but hey,thats just me.
so you "men" out there,i encourage you to change your perception on beauty.when you talk about love,the heart is the one who feels the whole thing and not the eyes..i'll leave it for you to ponder on it..

I'm of the same opinion. Beauty isn't really everything coz other things count as well. Beauty attracts people's attention, but that's as much as it can do. Without a nice personality, people would not want to linger.
My personal view: I haven't really met a pretty / cute girl with a great personality (well maybe because it takes a lot of effort to please me). On the other hand, I've met a bunch of less-attractive girls with a very appealing personality. It's just that they don't have the BEAUTY to audition themselves. But of course, there are girls out there who have both and also girls who lack both.
