Buidling your arsenal

Hey,

do you ever wonder if adding something that you own is really a good thing? sorry for the confusion but honestly,i've been thinking bout it for a while now.since im a bowler and a photographer at the same time, both "hobbies" need certain upgrades for you to be satisfied by it.only after you have completed your arsenal, lets say your camera needs a good zoom lens,a good wide-angle lens and also for portraits.Your bowling needs are a ball which is better than the last one, a good bowling shoe, a bowling towel etc.

so now im confused or lets just say im torn between two things..you see i take pictures of things that are going on with my frens, families and such.i also bowl regularly so im not sure whether i should buy a new lens for my camera + a mounted flash, or should i buy a new bowling bag.let me break it down to you..

Bowling bag+spare ball=1400+
10-20mm lens + flash=1900+

you see, the difference here is just around RM500 plus( well when you really see it does seem a lot) but still, both are priced almost the same..the most important thing now is that i have to choose wisely. if i dont buy the bowling bag and the spare ball,i wont develop my "game" so to say.If i dont buy the lens+flash,i wont be able to take beautiful pictures to be saved as memories..im beginning to think that im makung this problem even more harder by bringing up details so for right now,im not buying anything unless..lets keep it open for now.

cya!

Philosophy..does it suck?

Hi..

not really in a "blogging" mood but i just went through one class of philosophy and it was torture!! well not exactly torture but thinking too much should be the crime of the century.some might not agree with me on this but what is the point of knowing everything? is there no left for the curiosity? i believe that there is no fun in knowing everything but knowing at least something is better than knowing nothing at all..you know what i mean? if you haven't really grasped what philosophy really is, its actually about knowing the why..as for my subject,it relates to knowing everything about the concept of religion such as why is there a god,how can you prove the existence of god,why is there evil, why is there freewill and so on..it might seem interesting to know about these things but when its time for you to really solve these questions, then it becomes a problem. I'm not saying that its bad to learn philosophy but I'm just saying that philosophy is somewhat challenging your mind..and if you do know me,I'm the type that doesn't think much..

there are plenty of good that can come out of learning the philosophy of something and you could cancel out the "not-so-good" of it.for me,i like knowing more about it but sometimes i do hate when it becomes confusing..its only a matter of time before i could understand fully but as of now I'm struggling.but the funny thing is with us Malays is that we dont usually challenge our minds much and that is what i want to get out of..i want to be out of the "typical Malay" that doesn't say much about something and do as they are told.i mean you are made to agree with something even though there is a slight chance that you might disagree with it.its funny to see those kind of things when a lecturer asks if all of us understand and nobody raises their hand but in the end they don't understand even a word of the lecture..that's what i find funny.

Love triangles

Hey everyone..

a sad day as always and not to mention an unproductive day without any activities.just being a couch potato all day.its not that often that im energetic on a holiday but this time its different.i kept thinking to myself the signs people give out ot others.you know what im saying when you see that someone smiling at you at some taxi stand and immediately you would think that she is flirting with you or she's interested in you.wouldnt you?

some of you might say otherwise but its true.people tend to think that something as little as a smile might not be taken wrongly so if you do, you are damn wrong my friend!

we humans are sometimes "perasaan" in some ways where we think that something is done to you but infact it isnt.i mean a girl mightsmile at you but maybe its just a sign of friendship or kindness.im not suggesting that we be make a serious face each time we bump into each other but keep it on a minimal.meaning that dont give out signs that might be taken wrongly by the other person.im not a love doctor( well, not even a M.D doctor) but let me tell you something, saying that you are destined to be with each other doesnt mean that its a done deal.let me break it down..i was meant to be with my lecturer but that doesnt mean that im going to fall in love with him/her,s oif you do hear someone say that, dont start jumping out of the building just yet.keep waiting until they say that they cant live with you or they are begging for your love..then you jump.Until then, keep crying yourself to sleep holding their pictures..otey?

keep it cool.love,Funnyguy

how can we relate to that?

Hello my fellow readers..

first and foremost i would like to wish to all of you a prosperous  new year.there is one thing that i keep thinking for months now. as you have known that the people of the United States has made history by electing their first African-American President.this is what puzzles me until this day.i recall that right after President Obama was elected as the new president-elect,i noticed that some of my friends on facebook became a fan of "change" by Obama..its not usual for someone to see that someone that has no relation with a certain country feels like he/she has made a change.i mean its really funny that someone supporting Barrack Obama but does not even have a slightest idea what Obama Brings to the world.I'm not against Obama but I'm not a fan of "blind followers" and i should say that i hate when people follow something without knowing the full facts of what they are supporting.

its not just about Obama but you can see that the campaign to boycott Israel. Muslims around the world protest about boycotting brands or products that have a connection with Israel. i often ask myself"where are the facts?" and often i get pamphlets regarding this matter but not often i get the facts of this(but thankfully due to my persistence i have found the facts)..the problem here is that people are not thinking the rationality behind their stands.the example of Obama is clear.from what i observed throughout the election of  the US  is that there is a wide acceptance of Obama among the US celebrities and this is what i think is the reason for people who have no relation to the United States i.e people of the world, think that Obama is the best candidate.this is what I'm not comfortable with, the idea of the US controlling the political world just through its president. the power of the US is frightening that it can stop the tracks of the world for their election. going back to the Israel boycott, ask a protester the reason behind their boycott of course they will say that the certain brands have a track record of supporting Israel but when you ask for the facts they cannot give it.why?because  they follow what they think is right.I'm not saying that this is totally wrong but its better if we know the reasons behind it to throw out any doubts.i am going to confess that i do have doubts about these boycotts at first but knowing the facts makes it a more informed decision. for the support of Obama, personally,i think that Obama is a great speaker and he is influential in his approach. i have my reasons for supporting him is not in terms of his political promises but his personality.he is a peoples' person.I'm still puzzled on why my friends support Obama but my hypothesis is because Obama is popular among celebrities and almost all people.

until im proven wrong, that is my stand
