the problem with updates

I've been blessed and cursed at the same time.from last night until this moment,i have been frantically trying to solve the problem of my computer.it was beginning to feel as if i was not meant to have a computer because they keep giving me problems.luckily,i did not panic (well i did panic at first but only for a tiny moment)

the problem was that i made my computer shut down automatically after it finished downloading a certain file and then when i turned it on, it began to install these updates which i thought was usual.then all of the sudden when it said "Configuring Updates 3 of 3.0% completed,it automatically restarts and continued like that at somewhat a loop. so i didn't know what to do so i left it and went for a drink with my friends.after i came back it was still doing it so i tried everything and since i lost my recovery partition,i didn't know what to do and since i didn't have any other computer with me,i had to surf the internet through my ipod touch and started searching for a solution to my problem. after hours of trying i finally gave up and this morning, i went to the store and picked up and bought a vista DVD.that wasn't the end of it really.throughout the day, i still had to reinstall all the drivers that had not been installed automatically.

the problems with updates is that all the "security updates" that windows made us install isnt much of a concern to us at all.some of us let it automatically update itself (that includes me before this happened) and when this happens.why do we need so much security for? does everybody has government secrets on their laptop? what/so we can surf the net safely without any threats? so whats the point of me installing the internet security software then?..well im pretty sure that microsoft has its own reasons to do this but do they need people to hate them for it? i mean even if it is for our own good? having to reinstall the OS is for our own good also?

if even microsoft updates does make your computer act like what i just experienced,i think they shouldn't have made people buy the DVD..so for now, im still mad at microsoft that i bought a pirated one and used the loader..thats for ruining my whole day and made me switch to apple for 12 hours..i wasnt familiar using apple computers so for that I HATE MICROSOFT!

apart from that,i just wanted to say that be aware of everything that you change and install in your computer,i know you've probably heard it countless of times regarding installing 3rd party software but Im talking about those damned updates that made my computer lost all of its factory-included software.cheers

its been a while

i've come to realize that my old habits about blogging has come back.i used to put up numerous blogs since 2004 but non of the blogs seem to flourish or being maintained successfully.but thats all in the past..im going to try and post as much as i can.so whats happening? i can tell you not much but i would be lying..it seems that i still wouldnt have my driving license this year,i dont know why.

I keep asking my parents to send me to driving schools but all i get are delays,and then when people ask them why their son hasnt taken his driving lesson,their answer is that im afraid i would be made a driver to my little brother to school..say what?!if i was asked to drive my little brother to school everyday i'd be more than happy to..i have this image that having the ability to drive legally is like freedom for you to be anywhere you desire..well not anywhere but what i mean is that if you want to go to have a drink,you might do so without any restrictions or having to ask anyone to help you.

you might say that my reason are not really what having a driving license is about but to me it is.well that's that,let me just sidetrack for a moment to evaluate myself.I've discovered so much about me for the past two/three years..what i realized is that im the type of guy that wants everything to be just the way i like it.but im not going to insist on it.an easy example is regarding blogging,blogging is simple and complicated at the same time.the simple things about blogging is that you can express whatever you like,its not exactly freedom without consequences.it has responsibility that comes with it but basically you can blab about your sex life, your frustrations,knowledge,complaints and such.

but what makes me feel not attracted to blogging is the task of having to cook up something to write,it just makes me lazy to update if i have to write long sentences without having any marks given. so that's me, I'll do anything only if i know what its good for. i mean I'll care for a baby even it does bite my ear off because i know the ways to care and understand why i need to care for a baby( well not in a parenting way) but if its complex and needs alot of patience, i probably wouldn't bother. but i learned that being patient has its perks at times,only if the reward at the end of it is something big or rewarding.
